We were thrilled when Catoctin Creek Distillery asked us to come back for another sip and sew. And we were extra excited because we already had this fun project in the works…. aren’t these cute?!!
During this sip and sew, you’ll learn to crochet and be well on your way to making these for everyone you know!
We’ll be sipping in style at the beautiful Catoctin Creek Distilling Company in Purcellville, Va. This time, we’ll be learning to crochet these adorable little coin purses. We’ll provide the yarn and wooden bead, and we’ll have size ____ crochet hooks available for purchase at the event. Fill your little pouch with change or a gift card- whatever your pleasure, you’ll be sure to keep this special little piece forever (and as quick as it is to crochet, you’ll be making these for all your bestest friends too)! Let me tell you about Catoctin Creek: with one whole wall of windows, we’ll be sure to have plenty of beautiful light for a very cool project. Catoctin Creek® Distilling Company was founded by Becky and Scott Harris in 2009 as the first legal distillery in Loudoun County since before Prohibition. Catoctin Creek is all about high quality spirits. Tastings of their finest concoctions will be available to us all evening, and everyone is welcome to buy bottles to bring home to the mister as well (let’s be honest, it’s really for me… ). :)
